I am Alexis France, A first year student at the University Of Alabama. Alabama is quite far from my home town but not too far from my family. I live in New Jersey, but my Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins all live down south. Between Mississippi and Alabama I know I am not too far from home. College here feels like home to me, Most  students get home sick. When I come home, I get “Bama Sick.” I love this University.

I am currently a Journalism Major, Minoring in Political Science on the Pre- Law Track. I originally wanted to be a sports broadcaster but as I decided mid way through the semester that was not the only thing  I wanted to do. I eventually want to become a lawyer. I know these two career fields are kind of opposites but I have hopes of making it work by being a sports journalist while in law school.

I have had some experience with Broadcasting and Journalism in High school. I was an anchor/ writing for my school news. This was a great experience along with the writing, filming, and documentary courses I have taken.
